The clients had removed several overgrown trees from the garden and had built a modern red cedarwood studio at the end of the garden for their teenagers. The patio was redesigned to accommodate the newly extended house. The clients wanted to create an attractive garden which the whole family would benefit from.

An hourglass shaped lawn was designed to lead to a pergola and a densely planted area in front of the garden studio. Trees were strategically placed to partially hide the studio so that it did not become the focal point of the garden. Several small trees were planted too, to give height to the flat garden.
