The dull front garden initially had no focal point and odd plants were scattered amongst a variety of ground cover materials.
The clay ground was very dry making growing conditions a challenge.
Shade loving plants were introduced into this east facing front garden and planted in rows. Acer palmatum, Euonymous fortunei ‘Emerald gaeity’, Dryopteris felix mas and Anemone x hybrida were used to create this lush planting scheme in the front garden.
