Transformed patio with levels-Carshalton, Surrey

The steep stairs from the sitting room leading to the garden required replacement, so the opportunity was used to create different areas for relaxation as well as creating safer steps.

Raised borders clad in porcelain (London Stone) contrasted with the composite decking (Millboard) and created divisions between the different areas within the decked area, therefore, creating mini rooms.

The garden was easier to access and more inviting after the landscaping. Imperial Landscapes built the garden.

The raised platform required planning permission  outside the living room as the platform was more than 30cm above existing ground level. Berrie Garden Design drew up the plans for planning permission for the garden.
