The new build house lacked interest and colour in the garden as it originally only featured a patio. The lawn was reshaped and a sweeping plant border was created. The soil contained a lot of debris and heavy clay. As much of the debris as possible was removed and the clay was improved with compost and topsoil. Plants that could tolerate these conditions were selected and filled the border to create an impressive focal point for the clients. The fences were also painted black which made the colour of the plants jump out.
Plants were sourced from Evergreen and Flittons
The garden design was created using Vectorworks software and the plant list was presented to the client using Plant Master Software
